<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a precursor sheet-like material for a porous carbon electrode base material with a smooth sheet surface and excellent in homogeneity with a high accuracy in sheet thickness. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the precursor sheet-like material for the porous carbon electrode base material comprising a process of continuously hot pressing carbon fiber paper impregnated with thermosetting resin, a progress of resin hardening just before the hot pressing is 10% or more and 70% or less, and the progress of the resin hardening just after the hot pressing is 80% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
