PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration plate for a turbidity meter of which the value is reduced by a relatively easy method. SOLUTION: In a span calibration plate for a surface scattering type turbidity meter, the calibration point of the calibration plate which is normally made in a specific measurement range warranting the linearity is moved. When the calibration point is moved, at least a transparent member having refractive index different from a standard calibration plate is laminated on the standard calibration plate.
