PURPOSE: A TFT-LCD device is provided to dispose a slit in an upper common electrode part of a color filter substrate corresponding to gate lines, data lines, and repair lines, thereby removing a parasite capacity among signal lines, the repair lines, and an upper common electrode and reducing signal delay. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate comprises as follows. Gate lines(2) and data lines(4) cross each other. TFTs are comprised in crossed portions of the gate lines(2) and the data lines(4). Pixel electrodes(6) are arrayed within each pixel defined by the gate lines(2) and the data lines(4) so that the pixel electrodes(6) can be contacted with the TFTs. An alignment layer for initial orientation of liquid crystal molecules is applied to a top surface of the array substrate. A plate-shaped upper common electrode(14) is defined on black matrices and color filters. |
