PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remodel an existing sash into a new sash with a larger opening width than the opening width of an existing sash with an existing sash frame left as it is. SOLUTION: A new sash frame 10 with a large opening projected dimension is mounted to the outdoor side face 1a of a building skeleton 1 with the existing sash frame 3 left as it is, and a movable sash 14 with a large projected dimension and a fixed sash 15 with a small projected dimension are fitted into the new sash frame 10 to constitute a remodeled sash making the opening width of the new sash frame 10 larger than that of the existing sash.
