摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine the lowering of concentration of blue-white smoke generated in exhaust gas at the cold start of an engine, and the suppression of degradation of combustion performance following the fall of a compression ratio caused by expansion deformation by suppressing the expansion deformation of a swirl chamber under explosion pressure. SOLUTION: A stepped-down peripheral surface 13 is formed in a stepped-down state at an upper side part of the outer peripheral surface of a mouthpiece peripheral wall 3 of a swirl chamber mouthpiece 1. An annular rib 14 is protrusively formed at the intermediate height part of the outer peripheral surface. A recessed peripheral groove 15 is recessed at the lower side part of the outer peripheral surface. Heat insulating spaces 16, 17 are formed between the stepped-down peripheral surface 13 and the recessed peripheral groove 15, and the inner peripheral surface of the mouthpiece attaching hole 8 respectively.
