PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothespin with a simple structure, allowing a non-handicapped person and a hand-handicapped person to use the single clothespin in common, manufacturable at a low cost, and having excellent durability and operability. SOLUTION: This clothespin has a clothespin body 10 openably and closably provided with left and right clamping pieces 11, 12, a pressing lever 30 formed with a loose insertion hole 31 in a central part thereof, and an operation member 20 formed in a nearly T shape by an operation lever 21 and a guide arm 22. The pressing lever 30 is fixed to an upper part of one clamping piece 12, an upper part of the other clamping piece 11 is turnably installed to the operation lever 21, and the guide arm 22 having the other end side loosely inserted in the loose insertion hole 31 is formed with a lock groove 25 and an abutment stop part 28 for locking the pressing lever 30.
