<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device capable of increasing loading amount of a tray for loading and storing a booklet which is center-folded, is saddle-stitched, and has a swell in a rear part. <P>SOLUTION: This post-processing device has the tray which sequentially loads and stores a booklet formed by center-folding a paper sheet on which image is formed and saddle-stitching it after forming it, a driving means for lifting and lowering the tray, and a control part controlling the driving means. A pressing member for pressing an upper face of the loaded booklet is provided above the tray. Every time one booklet is loaded, the control part controls the driving means for lifting and lowering the tray to lift the tray to apply pressing force to the loaded booklet by the pressing member and the tray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
