摘要 An error detection and evaluation procedure involves initially establishing an error by one or more units (E) and entering a corresponding error-code (FCx) in the error store(s) of the relevant unit(s) (E) for error evaluation, in which for every one of the entered error codes, every one of the likely completely erroneous system components (Sy) are ascertained, and for each ascertained likely erroneous system component (Sy) the number of faulty entered error code(s) is established among the error-codes assigned to the likely erroneous system components, as a resultant numerical value (Zx), which (Zx) is normalized for each likely erroneous system component (Sy). The system component (Sy) corresponding to the highest normalized resultant numerical value (Zx) is determined as the error site/location.
