APPARATUS FOR CLAMPING ABDOMEN USING AIR-INJECTION BALLOON-TYPE BLANKET IN RADIATION THERAPY

PURPOSE: An apparatus for clamping an abdomen using an air-injection balloon-type blanket in radiation therapy is provided to improve the clamping ability of a patient by injecting air into a blanket to increasing a pressure with respect to the abdomen. CONSTITUTION: An air-injection balloon-type blanket(11) is used as a pressing member that presses the abdomen of a patient. A fixing member(23) fixes the balloon blanket(11) to a flat plate(3) and supports a clamping frame(4) that is shaped to the body shape of the patient. A tube(13) is connected to the balloon blanket(11). The tube(13) is provided with a valve(14), a barometer(15), and a pump(16). The valve(14) adjusts the quantity of air to be injected into the balloon blanket(11). The barometer(15) indicates air pressure of the balloon blanket(11). The pump(16) supplies air to the balloon blanket(11).
