A charge pump (10) includes a plurality of capacitors (16.32.48.24.40.56) that are alternately charged and serially coupled. When serially coupled, the voltage across a given capacitor will equal the voltage at its negative terminal and the voltage across the preceding capacitor. Each charge pump stage (A-F) is arranged to effect voltage increases that follow a Fibonacci number sequence. |
