PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the rotational accuracy of a photoreceptor drum required further with the speeding-up of an electrophotographic device compatible with torque necessary to start from load to be increased further.

SOLUTION: In the photoreceptor drum motor control system for the electrophotographic device provided with the photoreceptor drum, a drum motor for driving the photoreceptor drum and a motor driving control part having a driving current limit circuit to control the drum motor, a given driving current limit value is set in a fixed period after starting the driving of the drum motor and then it is switched to a driving current limit value smaller than the driving current limit value.
