PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion method for waste by use of an external circulation type fluidized bed incinerator capable of safely and efficiently burning waste containing organic phosphorus compound such as meat powder related to BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) which is, in particular, a recent problem as a main substance to make it harmless and reducing sulfur oxide (SOx) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) in generated combustion exhaust gas. SOLUTION: In this combustion method for waste by use of the external circulation type fluidized bed incinerator (combustor) 1, calcium agent for preventing sintering is added to a combustion part of the waste containing organic phosphorus compound of meat meal (MM) composed of mainly meat and internal organs taken out by rendering from livestock such as cow and pig as main substance. Or, meat meal (MM) containing reduced content of Ca and meat and bone meal (MBM) containing large content of Ca are mixed or charged alternately to burn the waste. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
