<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic copying machine which can shorten the heating time for heat fixation when a toner is thermally fixed on a form. <P>SOLUTION: In the timing where the header part of a starting form passes a paper sensor part 22, a triac part 35 of a fixation part 26 is made to start heating operation. On the basis of the timing where the header part of the starting form passes the paper sensor part 22, the triac part 35 is made to stop the heating operation in the timing where a final form is discharged by a discharge roller 27. Thus, overshooting caused as a result of the heating operation carried out for a long time while a form absorbing heat is not present at the fixation part is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
