<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an area shaped like a picture frame of a circumference of a light guide panel without deteriorating brightness efficiency of light incident from a light source in an illuminator for use in an electro-optic device and electronic equipment with the electro-optic device. <P>SOLUTION: For guiding light toward a part other than an observation face of the electro-optic device to the observation face, a reflecting plate is stuck on a bottom face of the light guide panel and two side faces adjacent to a light incident face from the light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
