<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst supporting paper resistant to the deterioration of the interface between the paper and the coating film containing the photocatalyst and the deterioration of the coating film by the photocatalyst without using a complicate procedure, developing photocatalytic activity of the surface over a long period by light irradiation and having excellent deodorizing property, stain-proofing property, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The paper has a coating film containing a photocatalyst (A) and a binder component (B).
