<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system which automatically turns on/off a light with a portable device. <P>SOLUTION: When a master key 11 or a sub-key 12 receives a request signal from a light ECU 14, the master key 11 or the sub-key 12 transmits an ID code signal. The light ECU 14 inputs the ID code signal and collates the ID code and an ID code stored in the memory 141.
