<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railless movable partition wall, by which a time and a cost for installing a guide rail can be reduced and which can be moved freely in a mounted space. <P>SOLUTION: Partitions 20 and 22 can partition a fixed space 10 into a plurality of spaces while being constituted so that the partitions are moved in the fixed space 10 and can change the sizes of the partitioned spaces. Traveling mechanisms composed of caterpillars moved in the fixed direction are installed to the bottom sections of the partitions 20 and 22. Guide means are mounted on the partitions 20 and 22, and the guide means are composed of guide lines 30 for preventing the oblique traveling and meandering traveling of the partitions and sensors detecting the guide lines 30 while article housing functions are secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
