<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly decide replacement of a component of an image forming device and to more properly estimate replacement timing. <P>SOLUTION: The total number of cartridges used in a use period of each component of a color laser printer, the total amount of consumption of toner, the total number of papers printed, the temperature at an installation place, humidity at the installation place, etc. are read in from storage elements of toner cartridges which are attached to the color laser printer for use (S100), and replacement of the component of the color laser printer is decided (S120) after correction of condition values (S110) when the temperature and humidity at the installation place are on the outside of normal ranges. When it is decided that immediate replacement of the component is unnecessary, replacement timing of the component is estimated (S130), and a decision result of replacement and an estimated result of the replacement timing are outputted to a database (S140).
