PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipipe heat exchanger capable of preventing a deformation from occurring on heat exchanger tubes and/or a shell when the multipipe heat exchanger is manufactured by passing a multipipe heat exchanger assembly through a brazing oven for brazing connection. SOLUTION: This multipipe heat exchanger 112 comprises a plurality of heat exchanger tube groups 114 formed of the plurality of heat exchanger tubes allowing first fluid to pass therethrough and the shell allowing second fluid to pass therethrough. The heat exchanger tube groups are disposed by holding both ends thereof on a pair of tube sheets 118 and 118. The heat exchanger tube groups 114, tube sheets 118, and shell 116 are basically formed integrally with each other by brazing. The shell 116 is divided laterally and divided connection parts 117 are welded to each other (excluding brazing). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
