TEMPERATURE DETECTOR OF MOVING OBJECT, IMAGE FIXING DEVICE, AND TEMPERATURE DETECTING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detector for accurately detecting a temperature without damaging a moving object or a thermister.

SOLUTION: A protection member 2 is formed on a surface of the thermister 1. A contact 2 is provided on a surface of the protection member 2. The detector is provided with a first detecting circuit detecting the electrical resistance of the thermister, and a temperature detecting means detecting the surface temperature of the moving object according to a detection result of the first detecting circuit. The detector is further provided with a second detecting circuit electrically isolated from the first detecting circuit and detecting the electrical resistance of a conduction section, and a life estimating means estimating the life of the temperature detecting means based on the electrical resistance detected by the second detecting circuit.
