PURPOSE: A method for coding variable length moving pictures is provided to accurately detect an error generated on a radio channel by fixing a COD in variable length coding using an H. 263 encoder. CONSTITUTION: In the case of coding moving pictures in variable length, a COD(Coded Macroblock Indication) which is initial information of a macro block header is fixed as '0'. MCBPC(Coding pattern information to a mode of a macro block and two chrominance blocks) is set as '1'. CBPY(Coding pattern information to four luminance blocks) is set as '1'. MVx(A motion vector in an X direction) is set as '0'. MVy(A motion vector in a y direction) is set as '0'. |
