ROD MILL DEVICE FOR TREATING SOLIDS SUCH AS TAR SLUDGE

PURPOSE: A rod mill device for crushing treating solids such as tar sludge generated in the process of refining coke oven gas at chemical conversion plant of an iron works into particulate powder having a certain particle size is provided. CONSTITUTION: The rod mill device for treating solids such as tar sludge comprises a chute casing(20) connected to a lower part of chain conveyor(10) so that tar sludge is injected into the chute casing(20); fixing and moving bearing blocks(40,50) respectively fixed to and movably installed at guide frame(30) installed at both sides of the chute casing(20); and fixed and moving rods which are rotationally installed through the fixing and moving bearing blocks(40,50) and the chute casing(20), in which mills for crushing tar sludge are installed inside the chute casing(20), and which vary a gap between mills when metallic foreign materials pass through the mills by the moving bearing block(50).
