PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display medium and an information recording medium capable of enabling color display and easily judging the authenticity of a display part simultaneously. SOLUTION: The image display medium is characterized in that it is provided with a display means for which capsules where the charged particles of a prescribed color are enclosed are clamped between base materials facing each other, and which displays images by supplying electric driving signals to the capsules. At least the base material on the side of viewing the image display of the base materials facing each other is a visible light transmissive base material with transmissivity to visible light and a layer including an oriented three-dimensional crosslinking material provided with a liquid crystal structure having at least a chiral phase is provided on the entire surface or a part on the side of the visible light transmissive base material.
