PURPOSE: A device for feeding paper of an equipment having an ADF function is provided to prevent bad pickup of paper or damage of front ends of paper. CONSTITUTION: If an ADF(Automatic Document Feeder) roller(10) rotates counterclockwise, a pickup arm(20) starts to rotate downward centering on a rotary axis(11) of the ADF roller. If the pickup arm rotates downward, a light end of a paper restricting member(60) is interference with a stopper(70), and a pickup roller(30) presses the top side of paper. Because the pickup roller rotates by receiving rotary force of the ADF roller, the upper layer paper is transferred in a direction of the ADF roller. At time, the paper restricting member is pushed upward by transferring force of paper, so the paper enters the ADF roller without being interfered.
