<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable mounting metal fitting which properly fixes a cable, while avoiding the split of a cover. <P>SOLUTION: An earth plate 10 for fixing an antenna cable 20 to the body of an automobile is equipped with a pressure-welding piece 12 which is extended from the front edge of a fixed plate 11 and is turned up roughly in the shape of a circular arc, and it is provided with a regulating projection 14 which regulates the antenna cable 20 passed into the pressure-welding piece 12 to stay within the extension end 12A of the pressure-welding piece 12, in a position ranging from the front edge of the fixed plate 11 to the base section of each pressure-welding piece 12. This regulating projection 14 avoids such trouble that the antenna cable 20 slides outside from the pressure-welding piece 12 and catches the cover 24 between the extension end 12A of the pressure-welding piece 12 and the fixed plate 11, resulting in the split of the cover 24, so the antenna cable 20 is fixed properly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
