METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING MULTIBAND RADIO FREQUENCY IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for receiving a multiband radio frequency (RF) in a mobile communication system in which two bands in multiple bands received from an antenna are simultaneously selected by a little high frequency filters and local oscillators to simultaneously receive two of different information. SOLUTION: A first wideband RF wave signal including mutually adjacent first and second bands and a second wideband RF wave signal including mutually adjacent third and fourth bands are selected out of RF wave signals of four or more bands which are received by the antenna and are not mutually superimposed (first filtering). After low noise amplification is applied to the first and second wideband RF wave signals, a third wideband RF wave signal including mutually adjacent second and third bands and a fourth wideband RF wave signal including mutually adjacent first and fourth bands are selected (second filtering). A frequency of outputted 2-band RF wave signals is converted downward into 2-band IF wave signals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
