PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform band reservation, while performing asynchronous information transmission. SOLUTION: In a radio communication system having both of a region in which arbitrary information transmission is performed asynchronously, and a region in which information transmission is performed on band reservation, data about data transmission are stored in a buffer, the information transmission is performed asynchronously at first, and transmission on band reservation is performed when the data amount of the data stored in the buffer exceeds a prescribed value. This prescribed value is a value exceeding an information amount obtained by dividing all the bands, which can be transmitted in the asynchronous communication region by the number of radio stations forming a network. Also, when the data stored in the buffer are exhausted during band reservation transmission, band reservation is canceled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
