FIELD: medical technique, namely devices for physiotherapy, for example heating member of heating pad used for treating rhinolaryngological inflammation processes, for example in nose cavity, in antrum of Highmore, forehead sinuses, larynx in stationary conditions and at home. SUBSTANCE: heating pad includes two heating members joined by means of connection member and having envelopes and heaters inside it. Heaters are made of insulated wire and they are shifted by depth 0.2 - 3 mm from working surface of envelope. Heater and working surface of envelope have relation of their areas Sh = (1/4)So where Sh - surface area of heater, So - area of working surface of envelope. Working surface of heating members is made while taking into account anthropometric characteristics of heated surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of treatment of rhinolaryngological inflammation processes due to improved heat transfer to heated zones, uniform heating at safety temperature of heating. 2 cl, 2 dwg
