METHOD FOR DETECTING MUTATION IN SUBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply detecting the generation of LOH (loss of heterozygosis) in a cancer inhibitory gene.

SOLUTION: This method for detecting a mutation in a subject involves (1) performing the reaction of a labeled primer designed for amplifying a target sequence containing a mutated position to be detected with a polymerase and a specimen, (2) measuring detectable signals generated from the target material presenting in the reaction liquid obtained by the reaction in (1) at a multiple number of passing time points and (3) analyzing data obtained by the measurements to detect the mutation in the subject.
