<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which contact electrical resistance is reduced and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: Firstly, a catalyst layer 4 of a gas diffusion electrode 1 is formed on the surface of a gas diffusion layer 2 before a water repellent treatment by steps S1 to S3 and then a gas diffusion electrode 1 is formed by carrying out the water repellent treatment on the gas diffusion layer 2 excluding the catalyst layer 4 by steps S4 to S6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
