PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile and a travelling control device for controlling a driving force or a speed of a vehicle approaching from the rear side by installing a marker on a vehicle rear part, and controlling a following distance. SOLUTION: This system has the marker installed on the vehicle rear part and having a transmission part and a reception part of information, a marker detection device provided on a front part of the vehicle, for transmitting/receiving a signal with the marker provided on the rear part of another vehicle, and a driving force control part for controlling the driving force so that the level of the signal detected by the marker detection device becomes constant.
