PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an inner terminal and a tab surely in insulated state from a metal lid body, a battery case, and a generating element, even with a shock such as a fall. SOLUTION: A part of a lower gasket is U-shaped in a cross section with an opening in a direction of the center of the battery, and a negative electrode tab and a connecting part of the inner terminal are arranged at the U-shaped part. An upper insulation plate is firmly fixed to the generating element so as to block the tab, a convex part is fitted at the side of the metal lid body of the lower gasket, and at the same time, a concave part insertion-coupled with the convex part is fitted to the metal lid body to make up a sealed laterally-wound battery baffled in a structure of insertion-coupling the concave part.
