PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the injection device of an electric injection molding machine with a linear motor easy in maintenance or the like. SOLUTION: The injection device 21 is provided on the mainframe 42 of the electric injection molding machine. The injection device 21 is provided with a screw rotation mechanism 53 rotating a screw 54 within a barrel 51, a drive unit 55 moving the screw 54 in the direction of an axis line and the like. The drive unit 55 is provided with a pair of support walls 62 and 63 in front and behind and a sub-frame 60 having a base member 64. A coil 70 of the linear motor 52, a magnet 72 and a linear guidance mechanism 74 are mounted on the sub-frame 60. The coil 70 is supported by the support walls 62 and 63. The magnet 72 is movably mounted between the support walls 62 and 63. The sub-frame 60 is removably secured on the mainframe 42 by a fixing member 61. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
