PURPOSE: A portable charger in a mobile phone is provided to easily install a mobile phone charger at a user's waist belt using a belt clip and to vary the installation location when the mobile phone charger is installed. CONSTITUTION: A portable charger in a mobile phone comprises a front housing(10), a rear housing(20), a pair of clamps, a release button(60), an interface connector(70), and a secondary battery(210). The front housing(10) has cutting parts(16), respectively formed at the right and left upper parts of a receiving groove to accept the mobile phone, so as to operate the volume keys of the mobile phone. The rear housing(20) is fixed to the rear side of the front housing(10) by a screw(22) so as to cover the rear opening part of the front housing(10). The release button(60), installed at the upper part between the front housing(10) and the rear housing(20), controls the incoming and outgoing of the clamps. The interface connector(70) is installed in a block(71) so that revolution can be made as a shaft(71a) and a coil spring(71b) are inserted in the lower part of the receiving groove formed at the front housing(10). The secondary battery(210) is arranged in the space formed by the front housing(10) and the rear housing(20). The secondary battery(210) is charged with DC voltage converted through an adapter under the control of a charging control circuit.
