<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for secondarily working an improved type information carrier easily manufactured, having an uncomplicated layer structure and capable of being cut in a set of ID cards. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a tamper-proof carrier of information comprising a support and an opaque porous ink receiving layer is disclosed. The carrier comprises at least two sets of information, preferably a 1st set representing general information or security print and a 2nd set representing personalized information. The ink receiving layer is made transparent by impregnation with a UV curable lacquer, whereby the underlying information appears. The mechanical property is improved by the UV curing.
