POLYPROPYLENE-BASED ELECTROCONDUCTIVE CONJUGATED FIBER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene-based electroconductive conjugated fiber having both of the excellent electroconductivity and the fiber strength and free from occurrence of poisonous gas when burned and to provide a method for producing the conjugated fiber. SOLUTION: A polypropylene-based resin constituting a sheath component composed of a polypropylene-based raw material containing 10-20 mass.% specific electroconductive substance and a highly stereoregular polypropylene resin having≤15g/10 min MFR value and≥96 mol% NMR value (mmmm fraction) and used as a raw material constituting a core component are conjugatively spun to provide an undrawn yarn. The undrawn yarn is drawn in≤3 times draw ratio within the range of 50-130°C draw temperature to provide the polypropylene-based electroconductive conjugated fiber. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
