The invention relates to a carrier comprising a cable channel for an electri c lamp. According to the invention, said carrier consists of two flat covering layers (7, 8) and one middle layer (9). The middle layer (9) consists of two separate elements (10a, 10b) parallel to the axis of the cable channel (11), whose joint layer thickness and mutual distance correspond to the width or height of the cable channel (11). The three layers (7, 8, 9) are glued or welded to each other.
