PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board capable of smoothly connecting with an external connector, and a method of beveling the same. SOLUTION: In this printed wiring board 11 having a roughly rectangular planar shape, conductor patterns including a connecting terminal section 22 for an external connector are formed on a copper clad laminate, in which an electrolytic copper foil is stacked on at least one of the surfaces of an insulating substrate 11A. The connecting terminal section 22 leaves a peripheral margin 14 between an edge 13 side of the printed wiring board 11 and the connecting terminal section 22 based on a corresponding relation with individual terminals of the external connector, to form an insertion guide 16 by gradually reducing the thickness of the board on both surfaces from the peripheral margin 14 to the edge 13.
