A method of knitting a knit-wear with a broad neckline without seaming by using a flat knitting machine, the neckline being formed by the first knitting step of knitting a front body by branching it into a front right body and a front left body from a front neckline forming part, transferring all stitches to be knit excluding those at one of the front right body and the front left body but including those at a front neckline to an idle needle at the other body, and increasing the stitches of the front neckline at other idle needle while racking a needle bed, the second step of joining, by welt-seaming, one end of a rear body with the arm-hole side end of one of the front right body and the front left body knit in the first step while they are facing each other, and the third step of joining, by welt-seaming, the end, not welt-seamed, of the rear body with the arm-hole side end, not welt-seamed, of the front body while they are facing each other.
