PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem such that it cannot be determined whether a fuel supply pump is normally operated or not, when fuel in an internal fuel tank is reduced up to a fixed quantity, after manipulation for the start of operations and the like, in a conventional engine generator which is constituted in such a manner that the fuel is automatically resupplied by the fuel supply pump when the quantity of the fuel in the internal fuel tank is made less than the fixed quantity. SOLUTION: The fuel can be resupplied to the internal fuel tank 6 of the engine generator 1 from an external fuel tank 43, which is arranged outside a machine body, in accordance with the quantity of the fuel in the tank 6 by a refueling apparatus for the engine generator 1; and an operation checking means for the refueling apparatus is provided and interlocked with an air vent device.
