PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic internal hydration measuring instrument by which information concerning internal hydration is easily obtained by ultrasonic wave, and also the information is correctly obtained. SOLUTION: An input means 4 inputs an individual parameter. An ultrasonic probe 2 is abutted on the forehead of a body by using a positioning means so as to measure an amount of change in the thickness of a skin layer in the body through the use of a measuring means 16. A storage means 12 previously stores internal hydration estimating data, internal hydration shortage rate estimating data, and internal hydration evaluating data. A specifying means 15 obtains the amount of internal hydration, an internal hydration shortage rate, and evaluating information on the basis of the various pieces of information (the individual parameter, the amount of change in the thickness of the skin layer in the body, internal hydration estimating data, internal hydration shortage rate estimating data, and internal hydration evaluating data). The result is displayed in a display means 5. Useful information concerning the internal hydration is automatically and easily obtained only by performing an input, or a measuring action to abut the ultrasonic probe 2 onto the forehead of the body.
