<p>A technique for measuring concentration of a target ingredient in an object to be measured. An ingredient concentration measurement method includes a first step for applying light to an object to be measured which is in a first magnetic field state and detecting the state of light from the object to be measured, a second step for applying light to the object to be measured which is in a second magnetic field state different from the first magnetic field state and detecting the state of light from the object to be measured, and a third step for calculating the concentration of the target ingredient according to the detection result in the first step and the detection result in the second step. The first magnetic field state is, for example, a magnetic-field-modulated state and the second magnetic field state is, for example, a state not magnetic-field-modulated.</p> |
