The crushing device has a crushing rotor (2) with carrier disks (3) fixed on it at a spacing from each other. Pointed cutting teeth (12) are mounted round the carrier disk, projecting axially and offset from each other. The center spacing of two successive carrier disks is smaller than the axial extent of the cutting tooth.
