摘要	<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas engine with boost pressure controller, which can improve a supercharge efficiency and engine efficiency and a method for operating the controller by making it possible to hold the boost pressure at the outlet of an exhaust turbocharger to a necessary boost pressure with high responsiveness in all the load range of the engine and by stabling output control in a high load range in particular. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas engine provided with the variable capacity type supercharger, while the detected value of an engine load is a given load value or less, a throttle value opening control is commanded, and when the detected value exceeds a given load value, the throttle valve is opened fully, and the control input of the variable capacity actuator of the super charger is controlled so that the pressure deviation between the desired value of the boost pressure set based on the engine load and the engine speed and the detected value becomes 0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
