PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method and a grinding wheel capable of reducing a cost and remarkably shortening a time for operations and grinding. SOLUTION: In this grinding wheel 1, grinding parts 5 and 25 projected toward the outer end thereof are formed on the outer peripheral parts 7 of wheel bodies 4 and 24, and a plurality of grooves formed on the outer peripheral part of the work along the axial direction of the work are formed by the grinding parts 5 and 25 in the circumferential direction of the work by rotating the wheel bodies 4 and 24. The grinding parts 5 and 25 comprise the grinding part 5 for rough grinding and the grinding part 25 for finishing provided apart a specified distance from each other in the axial direction of the wheel bodies 4 and 24.
