PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming program audience rate totalizing system capable of calculating a program audience rate of a streaming program providing audio and video contents distributed from a plurality of streaming servers existing on the Internet.

SOLUTION: The streaming program audience rate totalizing system is provided with the streaming servers for distributing a streaming program in response to a request from a viewer, and a program audience rate server connected to the streaming servers via the Internet, each streaming server includes a means for transmitting data of a program name and a distribution start time of a streaming program whose distribution is started and data indicating a program name and a distribution stop time of a streaming program whose distribution is stopped as viewing state data to the program audience rate server through the Internet, and the program audience rate server has a means for totalizing the viewing state data sent from the streaming servers by each program to calculate the program audience rate.
