摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the temperature control by detecting the temperature dependence of the characteristic of a constituent element such as a spindle motor or a voice coil motor in a device, without using a thermosensor, in the disk device for writing data in an optional position of a disk using a head and reading out data in an optional position. SOLUTION: A temperature control part 40 for adjusting the temperature of the disk device main body by heating/cooling the disk device main body is provided. The temperature dependence of the characteristic of a rotary mechanism part at least including the spindle motor 12 and the voice coil motor 14, is detected on the basis of the positional information included in servo information reproduced from the head or the current value of the spindle motor 12. The detected characteristic is compared with a prescribed value which is set in advance. When it is determined that the characteristic is deteriorated, a heater 4, an electric fan 7, or the like in the temperature control part 40 is activated so as to improve the deterioration in the characteristic.
