The invention relates to a sprocket chain (1) comprising chain links that are interconnected by means of respective track joints. According to the invention, a respective joint pin (3) extends through at least one joint opening to form a track joint and a bearing surface of the joint opening is formed by a sinter material. The joint pin is produced from an alloyed steel and a boundary layer of the joint pin, which forms the bearing surface, has a nitrated surface.
