<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection terminal capable of connecting a cable while breaking an oxide film generated on the aluminum cable. <P>SOLUTION: For the crimp terminal for an aluminum cable 1 having a crimping part 3 to be connected to conductive wires 4a of the aluminum cable 4, a pair of crimping pieces 5, 5, facing with each other, are formed at left and right side of a base 7 receiving conductive wires 4a exposed at the end part of the aluminum cable 4. Protuberant contact parts 6, 6 are formed on the surface of the crimping pieces 5, 5 standing opposite with each other, and ridge parts 8a-8c cutting into the surface of the conductive wires 4a, are formed to a conductor contacting edge of respective contact parts 6, 6, which breaks the oxide film formed on the surface of the conductive wires, and forms an electrical continuity when crimped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
