<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further effectively protect the body of an occupant by a bag arranged in a waist part of a lap belt part and a shoulder belt part by operating an acceleration sensor at side collision time and vehicle rolling time. <P>SOLUTION: A seat belt 20 has the shoulder belt part 6 passing through a shoulder part of the occupant, and the lap belt part 7 for wrapping the waist part. The bag BG2 is arranged in the lap belt part 7. A vehicle is provided with an acceleration sensor for detecting a side collision, and an acceleration sensor for detecting rolling. Ignition is caused by a signal from these acceleration sensors at side collision time and/or vehicle rolling time, and gas generated from an inflator 1 flows in the bag BG2 to inflate and unfold the bag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
